Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) is gearing up to restore about 10,000 acres of native grasses and shrubs on the Fitzner-Eberhardt Arid Lands Ecological (ALE) Reserve of the Hanford Reach National Monument within Benton County and 280 acres of a 2002 fire on the Wahluke Unit in Franklin County.
