Junior Duck Stamp Exhibit On Display in Anchorage
The Junior Duck Stamp Alaska winners exhibit is being shown at the Alaska Public Lands Information Center through the end of July.

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service sponsors the Federal Junior Duck Stamp contest every year for students k-12. This wetlands and waterfowl education and conservation program draws hundreds of entries from all 50 states.

Participating students submit original "Duck Stamp" drawings of North American ducks, geese or swans in their natural habitats. A panel of judges in each state selects a winner to compete in the National competition. The winning design becomes a printed stamp, and the winners in various categories receive ribbons and prizes.

The Alaska Public Lands Information Center, located at 605 W. 4th Avenue in suite 105 is open seven days a week from 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
