About Jennie Spegon

Jennie Spegon is a Conservation Biologist in the Ecological Services Program and is the Recovery Coordinator for the endangered short-tailed albatross.

She engages with other Service programs as well as with external partners to provide input under multiple mandates including the Endangered Species Act, Fish and Wildlife Conservation Act, Clean Water Act, Federal Power Act, Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act, and Migratory Bird Treaty Act. Jennie’s background is in environmental science, policy, management with a focus on environmentally sustainable development.  Jennie enjoys backpacking, traveling, and helping others to conserve and protect the ecosystems on which we depend and enjoy.
