Chris Hathcock

Chris Hathcock manages a Plant Ecology and Restoration Program. He and his team design, implement, and publish research on Texas wild rice (Zizania texana), an endangered species endemic to the San Marcos River. He works with partners including Department of Defense, Joint-Base San Antonio, the City of San Marcos, and the Edwards Aquifer Authority to help realize the Edwards Aquifer Habitat Conservation Plan.
