Overview

A perennial forb in the carrot family (Apiaceae), Cook lomatium grows 6 to 20 inches tall, from a slender, twisted taproot. Leaves are smooth, bluish-green in color, finely dissected, and strictly basal (growing directly above the taproot on the ground, not along the stems).
