Grazing Opportunities at Big Stone National Wildlife Refuge

Big Stone National Wildlife Refuge will be allowing cattle grazing on two units of the Refuge beginning in 2024. Grazing unit descriptions, requirements, and maps can be found in the bid packet. Cooperators are responsible for following all terms and conditions identified in the requirements and regulations.

A box will be placed in front of the office for bid collection after hours. Bids may also be mailed to the refuge office.

Please call or email the Refuge Biologist Brandon Semel ((320) 808-9470, brandon_semel@fws.gov) or stop by our office if you would like a bid packet or have any questions about the units or bidding process.
