Cooperative Agriculture Opportunities at Kulm Wetland Management District

Kulm Wetland Management District near Kulm, North Dakota, has cooperative agriculture opportunities for grazing on 23 waterfowl production areas (WPA), with units ranging in size from 7 to 321 acres, in Dickey, LaMoure, Logan and McIntosh Counties. Permits range from one to five years in length.

To be considered, applicants must complete and submit an application and ranking form for the WPA of interest. Applicants must fill out a separate ranking form for each WPA for which they apply. Applications can be obtained from the District website or by contacting the District office at 701-647-2866 or kulmwetlands@fws.gov. Applications must be received at the District office by 4 p.m. on February 27, 2023. Applications may be submitted by email to kulmwetlands@fws.gov, by fax to 701-647-2221, or by mail or hand delivery to Kulm Wetland Management District, One 1st Street SW, P.O. Box E, Kulm, ND 58456.

Successful applicants will be selected through an open and competitive process. Applications will be scored and ranked using objective criteria described in the application and ranking form. All applicants will be notified by March 6, 2023.
