Cooperative Agriculture Opportunities at Benton Lake Wetland Management District

Benton Lake Wetland Management District in Great Falls, Montana, has cooperative agriculture opportunities for haying and grazing on 13 Waterfowl Production Areas located in Cascade, Choteau, Glacier, Hill, Pondera, Powell, Teton, and Toole counties. Haying and grazing opportunities range in size from 20 to 1,100 acres.  

Application packets are available at the district office located at 922 Bootlegger Trail, Great Falls, MT 59404.  You can also request that a packet be mailed to you by contacting Andrew Pettibone at 406-690-9202 or email andrew_pettibone@fws.gov. Applications must be submitted by March 20, 2023. Applicants may email a completed application to andrew_pettibone@fws.gov or deliver a completed application by mail or in person to the district office at 922 Bootlegger Trail, Great Falls, MT 59404.

Successful applicants will be selected through an open and competitive process. Applications will be scored and ranked using objective criteria described in the application paperwork. All applicants will be notified by March 27, 2023.
