3-200-25: Export of Live Raptors

Use this application to apply to export live raptors that are listed under the Convention on Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) and/or the Migratory Bird Treaty Act (MBTA).

Please note, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service may not be able to issue documents for the commercial export of Appendix-I species, unless the specimens were produced at a CITES-registered Appendix-I commercial breeding operation. 

To Complete This Form You Will Need the Following:

• To answer a number of questions about the raptors you wish to export 

• Attach a variety of additional documentation. Please see the application form for details. 
• Please note in addition to obtaining this permit for your proposed activity, for any commercial activity you will need to obtain an import / export license from our Office of Law Enforcement.
