The refuge provides four boat ramps and one fishing pier on the south side of Highway 8. These ramps provide access for small fishing boats, kayaks, and canoes in Tippo Bayou and Long Branch. There is no boat launch fee; however, anglers are required to purchase a North Mississippi National Wildlife Refuge hunting and fishing permit.
