Camping is allowed in designated campgrounds within the Sherburne Unit. There is a primitive campground at the Sherburne Headquarters, located near the shooting range, about 8 miles south of Hwy 190. There is also a primitive campground on Hwy 975. Camping is free with valid Louisiana hunting/fishing license or a Wild Louisiana Stamp. Wild Louisiana stamps are $3 per person over age 16 a day and under 60, or $9.50 a year (Year ends in June for all license.)
