Nebraska Ecological Services Field Office

Our office is located south of the Interstate-80 / Alda Interchange and just north of the central Platte River (or Big Bend Reach) that serves as a staging area for roughly 200,000 sandhills cranes during their spring and fall migrations, provides suitable habitat for several other migratory bird and wildlife species, and is federally designated critical habitat for the federally endangered whooping crane.
