Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge was established in 1946 to provide habitat for migratory birds, wildlife, and plants native to the area.
Upland Game Hunt September 1st-30th

Hagerman is hosting the annual upland game hunt for squirrel, rabbit, and dove. 

  • Squirrel & Rabbit: September 1st-30th 2024 & January 1st - February 28th 2025
  • Dove: September 1st - 30th 2024

    To get an authorization slip for this hunt read the following regulations document then sign it and carry it with you. Hunters will also need a Texas hunting license and must comply with all provisions of state and local law. Visit our hunting section for regulations regarding hunting at the Nocona Unit.
