An adult male ocelot uses a wildlife underpass to travel beneath a heavily trafficked road at Laguna Atascosa National Wildlife Refuge in Texas. The Texas Department of Transportation and the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley have partnered with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service in the construction and monitoring of wildlife underpasses in and around the refuge.
