Fremont Weir on the Sacramento River

When the water level of the Sacramento River reaches a high point it flows over into the Fremont Weir and then into the Yolo Bypass. The weir is part of flood control for the Sacramento River. Image taken from USFWS Pacific Southwest Region Flickr page.
