About this Collection
The Biological Technical Publication (BTP) series is a technical report series used by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to disseminate technical scientific information from the field about fish or wildlife to practitioners in the public and private sector throughout the United States. The BTP series was originally published from 1999 to 2021 and relaunched in 2025 supported by the National Conservation Training Center. The report series includes surveys, monitoring results, assessments, and other technical reports.
