Learn about wood frogs, their life cycle, why their populations are declining, and how the refuge is helping. We will be observing wood frog tadpoles and/or eggs in vernal pools, conditions allowing.
This walk will start at the day-use parking lot near the top of Forest Road 80 and continue along Wilderness Way Trail. The area at the top of the road where the trail starts is turn around/drop off only; the day-use lot can be found approximately 1/4 a mile back down the road.
