A Storywalk in Nature

Inviting all book and nature lovers!  This easy going self-led activity is perfect for families looking to enjoy the outdoors together.  Take a walk along the Hillside Trail and read from giant picture book pages displayed along the trail.

Dates and Times: October 12 – 15 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Location: Bloomington Education and Visitor Center - 3815 American Blvd. E, Bloomington, MN 55425

Activity Level: Easy-active, self-led.

Meet Us: The storywalks begin at the top of Hillside Trail, right outside the Bloomington Education and Visitor Center

What to Bring: Good walking shoes, bug spray and sunscreen if you have it.

Accessibility: Restrooms and water fountains are available inside the visitor center. Some portions of the trail are steep and have uneven tread. The loop is 0.4 miles and takes about 30-45 minutes to walk.

Program Leader: This program is monitored by refuge staff.
