Those who have experienced winter in Canaan Valley know of the often freezing temperatures, accumulation of snow, and fierce winds. But just because conditions are unfavorable does not mean we should not still go out and enjoy the beauty and quiet of our wintery blanket. Come learn how to keep yourself safe in winter weather and what activities you can try to get out and enjoy the snow.
This walk will take place on snowshoes, conditions allowing. Please email canaanvalley@fws.gov to reserve a limited number of snowshoes on a first come first served basis. Please note we do not have child sized snowshoes.
