Join us for a Starry Skies North program and explore the Refuge after dark! This FREE experience includes a guided walk, local art viewing and many more hands-on activities that help us explore the mysteries of the night sky. Open to all ages. No experience needed, come learn about the wonders of the darkness and how you can help reduce light pollution! Registration required!

Registration Information: 50 spots available through Signup.com.
Activity Level: Medium-active, we will walk a good walking pace and make some stops during the guided walk. There will be activities indoors and outdoors with varying degrees of movement.
Meet Us: Meet us at the Rapids Lake Visitor Center
What to Bring: Good walking winter boots, water, and appropriate winter gear. Monitor weather forecast and be prepared for the temperature and precipitation. A cancellation notice will be sent via email to registered participants in the event of severe weather.
Accessibility: Restrooms and water bottle filler fountain are available inside the visitor center. Accessible parking is available at this location. The guided walk will feature changes in elevation on natural and paved paths.
