Drop in anytime at the Old Cedar Avenue Pavilion and discover the insects that live in grasses and prairies. Enjoy self-led activities, including trying your hand at using a sweep net to capture some insects to take a closer look, meet the staff and grab a free treat!

What to Bring: This event is being held outdoors. Weather appropriate dress is encouraged. In the event of severe weather, please monitor our MeetUp and Facebook pages for a cancellation notice.
Accessibility: Restrooms and water are available at the Old Cedar Avenue pavilion and the pavilion is reachable by paved sidewalk. Optional self-guided walks take place on mostly flat ground on paved trails, wooden boardwalks and natural surface paths. Depending on seasonal trail conditions, natural surface paths may not be suitable for strollers or wheelchairs. Very few benches or rest areas exist along the route, though the parking lot is a short distance away and provides a shaded seating area.
