Welcome the morning chorus of spring on a guided bird walk along the beautiful Swallow Hollow Trail at Iroquois National Wildlife Refuge! Join Chris Hollister, Board Member of the Friends of Iroquois National Wildlife Refuge, for an early morning walk during one of the most exciting times of year for birding. May is peak migration season, when warblers, thrushes, vireos, and many other songbirds are passing through the refuge. As we walk the Swallow Hollow Trail, we’ll listen for the spring dawn chorus, learn tips for identifying birds by sight and sound, and explore the diverse habitats that make the refuge such an important stopover for migratory birds.
