Friends of Cat Island Spring Mirgration Birding Walk

The Friends of Cat Island will host a birding walk at 7:00 AM at Cat Island National Wildlife Refuge. The route will be about three miles. The exact location on the refuge is tentative at this time based on refuge conditions. A volunteer will be available to guide you to the correct spot where you will sign in. For an interactive map of the refuge go to https://www.fws.gov/refuge/cat-island/map. Experts will be there to assist with species identification. There are no bathroom facilities and it could be muddy; bring water, bug spray, sunscreen, proper clothing, proper footwear and binoculars. An aid station will be set up for assistance.
