Come to DeSoto National Wildlife Refuge to participate in a fishing clinic. The fishing clinic will be hosted by a Nebraska Certified Fishing Instructor. The fishing clinic kicks off on Saturday, August 10th at 10:00 a.m. at the South Gate Recreation Area. Fishing rods and bait provided by the Friends Group. Participants are also welcome to bring their own fishing pole. Kid’s younger than 16 can fish without a license, fishing license requirements for Nebraska and Iowa residents’ age 16 years and older still apply.
