This event features visiting sandhill cranes in the vicinity of the refuge. Guided car caravan tours to local crane viewing areas will take place at 9 am and 1 pm. Information on sandhill cranes will be available with directions to where visitors might view cranes on a self-guided basis. An interpretive program on cranes will take place at noon at the Visitor Center. There will also be crane activities for children.
