Join the Friends of Iroquois National Wildlife Refuge at Cayuga Overlook on Route 77 where we will start our caravan of cars to major birding spots across the refuge!
Date and Time: Saturday, April 29, starts at 9:00am at the Cayuga Overlook, moves to different spots across the refuge, ends at the visitor center at 12:00pm.
Location: Starts the Cayuga Overlook on Route 77. Stop by the visitor center (1101 Casey Rd.) if you have any questions or need help finding your way.
Activity Level and Accessibility: Easy-active, will involve driving your own vehicle to different spots, parking, getting out of your vehicle, walking, and using binoculars. Restrooms and water fountains are located at the visitor center.
What to Bring: If you have them, bring along your binoculars and favorite field guide. These items are also available to check-out at no cost at the front desk of the visitor center. This program is held entirely outdoors besides driving to the different locations. Please dress appropriately for the weather.
