Bird Walk

This program is part of Northern Virginia Audubon Stretch Our Parks initiative, in partnership with the staff of Occoquan Bay NWR.

Occoquan Bay NWR offers a diversity of habitats for wintering waterfowl, field, forest, and edge birds. We will meet up at the OBNWR Visitor Center parking lot. Trails are generally wide, flat, and crushed gravel but may be muddy. Layered clothing recommended. Newer and seasoned birders welcome. If you have binoculars, please bring them with you.

Your birding guide is Ruth Lane, an experienced local birder and certified Virginia Master Naturalist.

If you have binoculars, bring them with you. Meet at the Visitor Center.

Newer and seasoned birders welcome.

This walk is FREE, but registration is required. Use link to register: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/bird-walk-at-occoquan-bay-national-wildlif…
