About Dan Spencer
Dan Spencer has been the Information & Education Specialist for the Puget Sound/Olympic Peninsula Fisheries Complex since October of 2016. Prior to that, Dan supported fisheries fieldwork and outreach programming for the Western Washington Fish & Wildlife Conservation Office, a complex facility, back to June of 2009. His career with the Service began as a field intern in 1999 in Alaska, followed by field crew leader positions for the King Salmon, Fairbanks, and Kenai fisheries offices and as a Park Ranger Outreach work for the Yukon Flats National Wildlife Refuge. Outside of work, Dan enjoys fishing, hiking, rafting and camping with friends and family as well as making music (guitar, harmonica, and vocals).
