Scientific Collecting Permit for Common Raven Removal in Baker County, OR

The U. S. Fish and Wildlife, Division of Migratory Birds and Habitat Program, has published a Final Environmental Assessment (EA) and Finding of No Signficant Impact (FONSI) that analyzes a scientific collecting permit application from Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW) to take Common Ravens in Baker County, Oregon.  ODFW, in collaboration with Oregon State University, proposes to study the effects of managing the raven population in the Baker Priority Area of Conservation on the sage-grouse population there.
