Ways to get involved

If you would like to have your work highlighted through a CART Case Study, join one of our CoPs, or use CART to support your Community of Practice, please contact Karlee Jewell at karlee_jewell@fws.gov! CART is always seeking to share this adaptive model and expand with partners across North America to increase collaborative conservation efforts.

Our Partners

CART is a multi-organizational partnership formed in 2017 between the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Bureau of Reclamation, and U.S. Forest Service. CART’s leadership team has grown to include the University of Arizona, USDA’s Southwest Climate Hub and Drought Learning Network, and the Southwest and South Central Climate Adaptation Science Centers, who work with and support a network of partners, coordinators, and Case Study authors.

Our Team

CART is also supported by interns and fellows who bring their experiences in the fields of conservation biology, biology, ecology, rangeland management, natural resources, environmental sciences/policy, and social sciences/human dimensions of conservation to support Case Study development.
