Yellow Palm Warbler

Photographed on Pocosin Lakes National Wildlife Refuge, the yellow and brown palm warbler (Setophaga palmarum) spends some of its time in low bushes and on the the ground searching for food. Flies, caterpillars, berries, seeds and beetles make up the majority of the palm warbler's diet.
