Ohio Man Sentenced for Killing a Bald Eagle

David B. Huff shot and killed a bald eagle and then discarded it in the tree line of a bordering field.  He pleaded guilty to violating the Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act and was sentenced to one year of probation, loss hunting privileges during probation,  and was ordered to pay a $4,000 fine and $1,500 in restitution to the Service.
