About William Worley
William Worley was born and raised in Los Angeles County California. He attended Humboldt State University graduating with a Bachelors of Science in Fishery Biology in 2017. After graduation William worked for 3 years at a private shellfish farm in Eureka, California. At the shellfish farm he worked with Pacific Oysters and Kumamoto Oysters.
William was hired with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service in June of 2020 as a term biological science technician at Willow Beach National Fish Hatchery in Willow Beach, Arizona. William works with the Rainbow trout, Razorback sucker, and Bonytail chub programs. William routinely feeds fish, cleans enclosures, records culture data, monitors for fish health, and is also responsible for monthly water quality testing for the hatchery.
William lives with his wife and daughter and enjoys spending time outdoors as the weather permits.
