About Megan Boldenow

Megan (she/her) is the Ecological Services staff lead for several bird species of conservation concern. As a researcher and wildlife manager, Megan has worked with a wide variety of birds and other Arctic wildlife. Drawing on her policy background and knowledge of migratory birds, their habitat needs, and population-level drivers, Megan provides conservation planning and technical assistance to internal and external partners. Megan received her Master’s in Wildlife Biology and Conservation from the University of Alaska Fairbanks. She has more than 15 years of experience with research and wildlife management in Alaska, including collaborative work throughout the state.
