About Matthew Piteo
Matthew collects and prepares genetic data for analyses conducted by Abernathy FTC conservation geneticists. This process typically includes the extraction, amplification, and visualization of DNA regions in question for conservation genetic technologies such as SNP and microsatellite genotyping, gene expression, and Sanger Sequencing. Matthew also assists in the preparation of genetic libraries for next-generation sequencing technologies.
