About Jordan Muir

A lifelong Alaskan, Jordan works with project proponents to avoid and minimize impacts to bald and golden eagles.  This includes issuance of eagle, and eagle nest, take permits to alleviate health and human safety risks as well as to facilitate otherwise lawful activities.  His work also includes research to develop scientifically supportable spatial buffer distances that should be maintained around nests to avoid disturbance.  His personal passions include corvid (raven and crow) management, fine woodworking, and rafting Alaska’s bountiful rivers.
