About Anna Muñoz

Over Anna’s 20 year career with the Service, Anna has worked at all levels of the agency – from the field to the Director’s office – in multiple programs, regions and Headquarters. Anna has served as the External Affairs ARD in our region since 2015. Prior to coming to the Mountain-Prairie Region, Anna served as Chief of Staff to the Director.

Anna received her Bachelor of Science in Wildlife from New Mexico State University and a Masters in Wildlife and Fisheries from Texas A&M. Anna is a graduate of both Stepping Up to Leadership (SUTL) and the Advanced Leadership Development Program (ALDP). She has also served as a coach of ALDP. 

Anna is passionate on mentoring employees, working to improve workplace culture and lead organizational change and diversity and inclusion in conservation.
