Ernest F. Hollings ACE Basin National Wildlife Refuge Bird List

Document - application/pdf
Wood storks and a white pelican can be seen through the marsh grasses standing in shallow water.

The E.F.H. ACE Basin NWR bird brochure is a checklist that includes 291 bird species that have been sited on the refuge. Of those, 96 species are known to nest on the refuge and are noted in the listing. The refuge lies along the Atlantic Flyway and, with diverse habitats, is rich in birdlife year-round. The brochure also provides information for birding ethics as stated by the American Birding Association to promote the welfare of birds and their environments.
