Photography opportunities abound along the Morris Island unit trails, covering coastal dune and ocean side. Along the trails, one may see migratory songbirds, shorebirds like terns, willets, piping plovers, and more. Look for sea ducks and northern harriers in the winter.
Launching, landing, or operating an aircraft including unmanned aircraft (drones) from or on lands and waters administered by the US Fish and Wildlife Service is prohibited (50 CFR 27.34).
