Modoc National Wildlife Refuge

This trail leads the visitor around Wigeon pond with wetlands and wet meadows views. The south end of the wetland offers a viewing blind.

This Environmental Education trail is currently only open to scheduled school field trips.

The walking/ biking trail brings the visitor from the sidewalk at the end of town to the entrance road at Modoc National Wildlife Refuge. The visitor can access the auto tour route and Kaye Johnson Wildlife trail from here.
