Refuges are seeking public comment on compatibility determinations
San Bernardino and Leslie Canyon National Wildlife Refuges are soliciting public comment on the Compatibility Determinations for Interpretation. As detailed inside the Compatibility Determinations, this use would allow for on-refuge activities for refuge visitors conducted by refuge staff, authorized agents, or others, that are designed to foster an understanding and appreciation for natural and cultural resources, and associated management.
The public comment period for this compatibility determination is open from May 3, 2024 to May 17, 2024. Comments can be submitted via email to r2_plancomments@fws.gov. All concerns expressed during the public comment period will be addressed in the final compatibility determination.
