Yolo Bypass

The Yolo Bypass serves as part of a system to prevent flooding in the Sacramento Valley. Weirs connect the bypass to the Sacramento River. The water is eventually drained into the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta. Image taken from USFWS Pacific Southwest Region Flickr page.
