Occoquan Bay NWR Habitat Management Plan

This Habitat Management Plan (HMP) is a step-down plan, providing refuge objectives and strategies, and implementation schedules, for meeting goals identified in the Comprehensive Conservation Plan (CCP). This HMP provides a long-term vision for managing habitat for resources of concern at Occoquan Bay NWR, and addresses the contribution of this Refuge to ecosystem and landscape- scale wildlife and biodiversity conservation. This Plan is intended to set the direction for refuge habitat management for the next 15 years (2007-2022), with reviews and updates made to the Plan every 5 years.
