National Wildlife Refuge Asset Mapping

Mapping refuge assets using Data Driven pages R1 efforts to map all refuge assets, and creating map atlases for refuge and regional staff use. Data Driven Pages in ArcMap 10 provides a way to display assets in numbered sections for easier perusal. Kilauea Point NWR boundary data was used in this poster with pictures of various assets including the historic lighthouse. A proposal to validate asset location data that would draw upon other programs for funding and would invite the public to assist, while connecting people with nature including students and children.
