Abraham Hunter 17, of Vienna, Ill., has received top honors in state and national wildlife art competitions. He realized his artistic dream had come true when he won "Best of Show" in the Junior Duck Stamp Contest for the state of Illinois in 2008. A self-taught artist, Abraham plans to participate in the Federal Duck Stamp Contest and other state and national competitions. He has been recognized for his versatility as an artist, and his body of work ranges from fish to wildlife, songbirds and birds of prey and wants his work to be an inspiration to young and old alike.
