Upstream end of the project site. The metal plate and white bulk bags were used to divert water into the irrigation ditch to keep the worksite dry. The black fabric placed across the creek was buried and cut off to maintain the proper water elevation at low flows to still be fed via gravity into the diversion. Part of the roughened channel is complete, which is a mix of boulders, cobbles, gravels and sands that are “locked” into place with each other so they don’t get washed out in the spring floods.
