Gordon Watson oral history transcript

Gordon Watson oral history interview as conducted by Liz Williams. Mr. Watson was the Alaska Area/Regional Director from 1970-1978. He first started as a wildlife research biologist in Billings, Montana with the Division of River Basin Studies. He would transfer to Alaska in 1952 and spent most of the remainder of his career. He worked as a Special Assistant to the Director of the Fish and Wildlife Service and upon retiring in 1981, he received the Department of Interior Meritorious Service Award.
