Forrest Carpenter oral history transcript

Forrest Carpenter oral history interview as conducted by Dennis Holland. Mr. Carpenter discusses his career in the Fish and Wildlife Service, starting in the CCC Program at Malheur NWR, and retiring as a Regional Refuge Supervisor in Region 3. He talks about the reorganization that created Region 6, and how he felt that it drastically reduced job responsibilities in his Region. He was involved in the establishment of the first Wetlands Management District.
