Drew Elkman, Quincy Teng, and Tim Collette came to the Warm Springs Fish Technology Center in late May. Bill Wayman and Valerie Kearny assisted the biochemists in obtaining blood from over 90 resident Rainbow Trout. The biochemists were using various molecular features of the fish blood to further improve and calibrate a model aimed at inferring water quality via animal health metrics.
