U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Director Martha Williams belted into the cockpit simulator used to train Service personnel conducting overwater aerial missions or seaplane operations to safely egress from a flooded and inverted aircraft. A. Eric Alvarez, Deputy Chief, National Wildlife Refuge System, is to her right, as the two person crew in the simulated aircraft. Both successfully exited the simulated aircraft on their respective sides.
